Carol was born in San Jose, California, but she had the opportunity to live in many different cities across the country. Although her school and environment changed yearly, the one constant in her life was the use of traditional medicine such as medicinal herbs, food therapy, gua sha/scraping and cupping. Those early exposures inspired her to study this ancient, magical medicine. She loves the fact that traditional medicine supplements your innate biological processes and addresses the core of the issue. She found herself in sunny San Diego where she graduated with a Master of Science from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She was able to treat many patients including low income, veterans, and UCSD athletes. Carol has experience in treating various disorders such as pain, fertility, digestive, diabetes, insomnia, addiction, and many more. She feels fortunate to be in this field and excited to share her knowledge. On her days off, you can find her running near the bay, throwing the frisbee around, or playing beach volleyball. If not, you can find her exploring different restaurants and happy hours around the city.
